Zainab Yahaya-Edu is an experienced professional currently serving as Programme Manager at the Rural Electrification Agency of Nigeria since June 2020. Zainab also holds the position of Technical Assistant to the Managing Director at the same agency and has been a Technical Assistant at the Office of the Vice President since August 2016. Additionally, Zainab has contributed as a Team Member on the Social Investment Team within the Vice President's Office since August 2015. Previously, Zainab worked as a Communications Officer at the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority during a National Youth Service, where responsibilities included managing communications and event planning. Zainab's early career features internships at UNEP, where valuable skills in project proposal development and report writing were acquired, alongside a role as a Teacher’s Assistant at the International Community School of Abidjan. Zainab holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and International Development from The University of Manchester and a BA in Media Studies from the University of Bradford.
