Joel Kwartler has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Joel began their career in 2015 as a Design Entrepreneur Intern at IDEO, where they built a prototype concept for fractional residential real estate ownership and investment based on a blockchain. In 2016, they were selected as one of 30 students to participate in the Software Engineer "Wintern" program at Capital One. In 2017, they worked as a Program Manager Intern at Microsoft, where they scaled a new data telemetry service for OEM partners. In 2018, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Figma, a Staff Writer + Labs Engineer at Botnik Studios, and a Product Manager at Surkus. In 2020, they were a C20 Talent Fellow at Contrary and a Product Manager at Sourcegraph, where they boosted global revenue 11%. Finally, in 2023, they began working as a Product Manager at Runway.
Joel Kwartler attended Lake Oswego High School from 2010 to 2014. Joel then went on to attend Harvard University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
