Melody Bell (Chen), CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as the Senior Manager of Accounting at Runway since October 2023, having been the first accounting hire at the company. Previously, Melody held the role of Accounting Manager at Chime from October 2020 to October 2023, and prior to that, worked at Netflix as a Corporate Accountant and Content Accountant between January 2017 and August 2020. Earlier experience includes a Senior Audit Associate position at Grant Thornton LLP from August 2014 to December 2016, where Melody began as an Audit Intern in 2013. Melody's career started with a role as a Research Assistant at the UC Irvine Department of Cognitive Sciences from 2009 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Accountancy from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Irvine.
