Paul Swangard has a long and varied work experience. Paul started their career in 1987 as a Sports Director/Reporter at KEZI, an ABC-TV Affiliate. In 1999, they moved to Intel as a Senior Product Marketing Engineer. In 2001, they became the Managing Director at the Warsaw Sports Marketing Center, where they taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level and coordinated student experiential learning programs. In 2015, they took on two roles, Special Assistant to the Dean - Global Initiatives at the University of Oregon and Chief Strategist at RunnerSpace.com. In 2016, they became an Instructor at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communications. In the same year, they also founded the Bowerman Curve Collective, Inc., a sports marketing consulting and freelance talent services company.
Paul Swangard attended the University of Oregon from 1986 to 1990, graduating with a BA in Journalism. Paul then attended the University of Oregon - Charles H. Lundquist College of Business from 1997 to 1999, graduating with an MBA in Sports Business.
