Janakan Rajendran has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry. In 2003, they began their career as an Assitant LAN Administrator at SUNY IT, where they were responsible for LAN, WAN, Citrix and Windows Server Administration for a user base of 1000+. Janakan then moved on to WavHost in 2004 as a Research Assitant. In 2005, they became a Senior Network Engineer at Caterpillar, where they supported instrumentation global teams (UK and Japan), designed and implemented data acquisition wireless networks, mesh networks and LAN, WAN and SAN management. In 2006, they worked as an Infrastructure Manager at TalentQuest. From 2008 to 2010, they were the Director of IT at INVeSHARE (Swingvote), where they had strategic IT management with P&L responsibility of $1-$1.5m. Janakan then moved on to Global Net Access in 2010, where they were the CIO and was responsible for the design, architecture and development of Healthcare Cloud, SDEX (Secure DICOM Exchange), multi-tenant image exchange software built for larger hospital systems, radiology groups, telehealth networks and state level HIEs. Janakan also defined GNAX's growth strategies and was involved in strategic partnerships. In 2014, they worked at both Altisource and Lexmark Enterprise Software as the VP of Cloud and Consulting CIO of Image Exchange, respectively. Finally, in 2017, they founded and became the CEO of iTrust PRO, an all-in-one platform for small businesses, and in 2019, they founded RunLoyal - All-in-One software to run your Pet Business.

Janakan Rajendran has a diverse educational background. Janakan attended Madurai Kamaraj University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Janakan then attended SUNY Polytechnic Institute from 2003 to 2005, where they earned an MS in Telecommunications. Most recently, in 2014, they attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and completed their Innovation Acceleration Program, which focused on Innovation & Transformational Business Models.
