Liran Ben Abu began their career in 2008 as a System Administrator for the Israeli Air Force. In 2011, they moved on to become a System Administrator for Galtech. In 2013, they joined Perion Network as a DevOps Engineer, where they gained experience with Cloud Platforms, Docker tools, scripting languages, configuration management and deployment software, source code, monitoring platforms, edge elements, HTTP & Tomcat Application Servers, and multiple databases. In 2017, they joined Voyager Labs as a DevOps Team Leader, where they were responsible for leading the devops team, infrastructure changes to support high load and fast scaling, migration from instances to Kubernetes provisioned by kops, making application upgrade process automatic by ansible, migration the compiler tool from maven to gradle, implementing artifactory to be a part of CI/CD, refactoring CI/CD pipeline to use gitflow strategy, and converting all relevant tools to work with k8s. In 2021, they moved on to become a DevOps Team Leader and IT Manager at Diagnostic Robotics. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Run:ai as a DevOps & IT Manager.
Liran Ben Abu attended Shapira High school from 2001 to 2007, where they studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Liran then attended HackerU from 2016 to 2017, where they studied LPI1 - LPI2 - System Administartor (Linux). No additional certifications have been reported.
