Thomas Peters has been working in the technology and communications industry since 2001. Thomas began their career as a freelance web developer, building and maintaining websites for individuals and organizations. In 2006, they became an author for AmericanPapist, writing news and commentary on matters related to Catholicism, politics and funny pictures of the pope. In 2008, they became the Communications Director for the American Principles Project, building and running the websites and social channels promoting the work of the organization. In 2010, Peters served as a consultant for CatholicVote.org. In 2014, they founded and became the CEO of uCampaign, a platform that makes it easy for clients to build powerful apps which engage their supporters. In 2017, Peters founded and became the CEO of RumbleUp: Personal Scalable Messaging. Most recently in 2021, they founded and became the CEO of Switchboard, a platform that allows users to build deeper relationships with their friends and customers through SMS, MMS & Video Text.
Thomas Peters completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Ave Maria University between 2001 and 2005. Thomas then went on to earn a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Bioethics/Medical Ethics from Sacred Heart Major Seminary between 2005 and 2007. Finally, they obtained an STB in Theology/Theological Studies from the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies between 2007 and 2009.
