Thomas Lerch

Thomas Lerch began their work experience as a Freelancer in 2013, assisting friends with website building for their businesses and gradually developing a passion for online marketing. Thomas received more inquiries through referrals and started studying E-Commerce in 2014, applying the theory to their clients and their own online shops. In 2016, they worked as a Conversion Optimizer at Web Arts AG, where they handled the website optimization process and identified CRO potentials through data analysis. From 2015 to 2016, Thomas served as a Student Assistant for the E-Commerce study course at the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt, organizing events, preparing lecture materials, and optimizing the Google Ads account. In 2019, they became a Digital Marketing Consultant at Silbermann & Lerch GbR, providing CRO, SEO, and SEA services to clients, including strategizing, creating landing pages, and improving data collection. Currently, Thomas is working at RugVista AB as a CRO, responsible for the experimentation program, technical SEO setup, and developing the overall SEO strategy. Additionally, Thomas supported their father, who ran a hotel, optimizing business processes and profitability from 2012 to 2014.

Thomas Lerch obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in E-Commerce from the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg - Schweinfurt, which they attended from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they received their 1st State Examination on Teaching English and IT from the State Institute for the Education of Specialist Subject Teachers in Munich, where they studied Teaching, Psychology, and IT from 2010 to 2012. Thomas also completed their studies at the Inlingua Language School in Augsburg from 2008 to 2010, earning a German state-certified foreign language correspondent designation for the English and French language. Additionally, they obtained the Google Analytics Certification from Google in August 2022.
