Rey Virani has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as CEO/Founder of SignalCheck Consulting in 2016. Rey also served as CEO/Co-Founder of 1Hunnid Studios in 2016. In 2017, they were a Software Developer and Software Engineering Intern at Versium. In 2018, they were a Chassis Engineer at Illini Motorsports. In 2020, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op at GE Appliances, a Haier company and a Technical Hardware Engineer at Northrop Grumman. In 2021, they were a Technical Hardware Engineer at Northrop Grumman and a Design Engineer I at Brunswick Corporation. Rey currently serves as a Mechanical Engineer at Rugged Robotics, beginning in 2022.

Rey Virani attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Highest Honors.
