Steve has over 40-years of experience in the global branded destination entertainment arena. His career spans senior executive positions in high profile organizations including Universal Parks & Resorts, Royal Caribbean International, Starwood, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Steve was also the president of Smithsonian Business Ventures, based in Washington, D.C. and a senior vice president of global retail and revenue at Universal Parks & Resorts, where his responsibilities included helping to manage resorts in Orlando, Japan, Hollywood, and Spain that collectively generate over $1 billion (USD) of annual merchandise revenues. He was the president of Spencer Gifts, a wholly owned division of Vivendi Universal, and the executive managing director at Adventure World Warsaw, where he was in charge of marketing, revenue management, food and beverage service, hotel management, park operations, and staff recruitment for this $800 million (USD) project – the first of its kind in Central Eastern Europe. Steve presently consults within the branded and themed environment, having worked for such notable clients as Disney, Universal, Aramark, Hudson News, and Sea World. Steve was most recently a non-executive board member for DXB Entertainments in Dubai UAE.
