Santosh Rau is an experienced engineering leader with a comprehensive background in developing and managing technical infrastructures across multiple prominent companies. Currently, as Vice President of Engineering for Product Infrastructure at Rubrik, Inc., Santosh supports core technical teams and foundational initiatives for Data Security and AI products. Previously, at Quora, Santosh served as Director of Engineering, where a strong engineering team was built to enhance the platform's mission through various systems, including data infrastructure and site performance. Earlier roles include Senior Director of Engineering for Data Platform and Services at Salesforce, where leadership was provided for distributed data infrastructure software development, and Engineering Manager for Cloud Infrastructure at Netflix, overseeing a significant migration to AWS. Santosh began the career as a founding engineer at Intellisync Corporation, creating scalable server architecture for an alert service that attracted a large user base.
