Shannon Capwell's work experience begins in 2016 when they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Rhode Island Feinstein Providence Campus, focusing on antibody-dependent enhancement in Dengue Fever. In 2017 and 2018, they were an Undergraduate Research Fellow at RI-INBRE, where they participated in summer research programs investigating microbial interactions in the human oral microbiome. Starting in 2019, Shannon joined Rubius Therapeutics as a Quality Control Microbiology Sampling Analyst, eventually becoming a Quality Control Analyst II. In 2022, they moved to Neurotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Quality Control Analyst II in Microbiology.
