Richard Kitheka has extensive experience in financial reporting and auditing, currently serving as the Group Head of Financial Reporting & Controls, Planning and Budgeting at RUBiS Energy Kenya since August 2017. In this role, Richard prepares monthly analyses of business trends and consolidates financial reports for the East Africa group. Previously, Richard was a Management Accountant at RUBiS Energy Kenya, where efficient reporting templates were developed to significantly reduce the monthly reporting period. Before joining RUBiS, Richard worked as a Senior Auditor at EY from November 2013 to August 2017, demonstrating a strong ability to complete complex accounting projects ahead of schedule. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a CPA from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.
