Declan Smiddy is an experienced graphics coordinator currently working with RTE Sport since October 2018, ensuring the accuracy and grammatical integrity of live broadcast graphics while managing graphic requests from program editors. Alongside this role, Declan has been a production runner for The Production People since February 2016, facilitating smooth program operations for events like The Sunday Game and the Champions League. Previous experience includes positions as a porter at Ballsbridge Hotel and various film project roles such as Director of Photography and Assistant Camera on multiple short films, all of which have premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh. Declan holds a Master's degree in Digital Feature Film Production from the University of the West of Scotland and a degree from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
