Laura Le Meur is an accomplished engineer currently serving as Chargée d'étude exploitation at RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité since November 2022. Laura's experience includes a role as a Stagiaire R&D CFD at Siemens PLM Software, focusing on testing and validating fluid-structure coupling in thermal and deformation contexts using ABAQUS and SPHFLOW. Prior internships include work on acoustic R&D at SNCF, where Laura investigated the use of metamaterials for vibration isolation, and contributions to mechanical and hydrodynamic R&D at INNOSEA, specifically on the design of foundation-surface connections for floating wind farms. Additionally, Laura served as a research assistant at The University of British Columbia, concentrating on granular flows, and volunteered at the Jaguar Rescue Center. Laura holds a degree in engineering from ENSTA Paris, obtained in 2021.
