Joel Barenbrugge is a Senior Design Engineer specializing in 3D printing at RTC since May 2008, where responsibilities have expanded to lead large-scale developmental projects and rapid prototyping initiatives. Previously, Joel served as an SRS Designer, focusing on improving stocking efficiency with Store Ready Solutions, and as a Design Engineer, creating custom fixtures primarily from steel tubing and sheet metal. Prior experience includes a Design Engineer role at Neomek, Inc., working on contract projects for independent inventors and utilizing Solidworks and a 3D scanner. Joel holds a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained in 2007.
