Nicolas Portnoy has a diverse work experience spanning various media and production roles. In 2020, they became the Head of Production and Operations News and Sports at RTBF, where they manage RTBF News productions and is a member of the operational management committee. Before that, they served as the Head of Production and was an Executive Committee member at LN24 from 2018 to 2020. Notably, Nicolas also worked at RTL Belgium, RTL Group, Fremantle US, Keshet International, BUTV10, Solvay Business Game, Lagardère Studios, and KNTV-Keynews Television, where they held roles such as TV Production Strategy & Development, Strategy Mission, Acquisitions & Co-productions Sales & Distribution Intern, Development & Acquisitions Intern, Assistant Director Live Shows, Marketing Manager, Press Relations Manager, and Internal Consultant Intern.
Nicolas Portnoy completed their education in a chronological order. Nicolas first attended the European School of Brussels 1 from 1999 to 2011, where they obtained a European Baccalaureate with a focus on Sciences et Maths. From 2006 to 2009, they also pursued Latinum Europaeum studies at the same school. Portnoy then enrolled at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Ingénieur de Gestion from 2011 to 2014. Nicolas continued their studies at the same institution, completing a Master's degree in Ingénieur de Gestion - Advanced Management from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they participated in an exchange semester at HEC Montréal, studying Business Administration and Management. Finally, from 2016 to 2017, Portnoy attended Boston University, where they obtained a Master in Media Ventures.
