Peter Kersten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in urban planning and transportation. Since June 2018, Peter has served as Program Manager for Strategic Plan Implementation at the Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois (RTA), following roles as Principal Planner and Strategic Planner, and initially as a Planning Intern. Prior to joining RTA, Peter gained valuable experience as an Intern at Delta Institute and as an Account Executive at Getty Images for over a decade. Peter's career began at Lesowitz Group, Inc. as an Administrative Coordinator. Educational credentials include a Master's of Urban Planning and Policy with a focus on Transportation from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Communications from North Park University.
