Gemma Millar

Head Of Community Fundraising at RSPB

Gemma Millar has extensive experience in community fundraising, having worked at RSPB from 2016 to the present. Gemma started as a Community Fundraising Manager, leading the Scottish team and campaigns to achieve income KPIs. Gemma utilized large-scale fundraising events and effectively managed and motivated their team. In 2019, Gemma was promoted to Community Fundraising Operations Manager. Gemma is currently the Head of Community Fundraising at RSPB.

Alongside their work at RSPB, Gemma serves as a Board Member for Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis since 2021. Prior to their role at RSPB, Gemma worked at Age Scotland as a Store Manager from 2014 to 2016, where they were accountable for recruitment and training of volunteers and led staff and operations towards targets. Before that, they were Deputy Store Manager at Barnardo's from 2012 to 2013, responsible for managing the shop in the absence of the manager and recruiting and training volunteers. Gemma also has international experience as a Fremdsprachassistentin at Pädagogischer Austauschdienst from 2011 to 2012, where they worked closely with students to prepare for English exams and implemented interactive learning plans.

Gemma Millar's education history is as follows:

From 2020 to 2021, Gemma attended Lead Academy where they pursued a Level 2 degree in British Sign Language (BSL).

In 2020, Gemma briefly studied at TSN, focusing on Sexual Health. However, no degree was mentioned for this particular course.
