Richard Freeman's work experience includes:

- Director, Global Audit Practice at RQM+ since June 2021. RQM+ is a prominent medical device and diagnostics regulatory and quality consulting firm.

- Consultant providing quality, regulatory, and technical expertise to the global medical device industry from August 2019 to May 2021.

- General Manager KSA at BSI from August 2010 to July 2019, where they supported the Saudi Food and Drug Authority in implementing medical device regulations.

- Research & Development Manager at Advanced Medical Solutions from June 2002 to March 2011, leading the R&D business unit and contributing to the global wound care market.

- Project Director at Biocompatibles Ltd from 1991 to 2002.

Richard Freeman completed their education with a D.Phil degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford between 1986 and 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc in Chemistry from University College Cork from 1982 to 1986. In their earlier education, Richard attended Glenstal Abbey School from 1977 to 1982.
