Garrett Jeffries

Principal, Clinical Post Market Practice at RQM+

Garrett Jeffries, PhD has extensive experience in the medical device industry, specifically in regulatory compliance and clinical post-market practices. Garrett has worked as a Principal at RQM+ since 2017, where they lead the development of MDR/MDD compliant clinical documentation and provides consulting services for major medical device companies. In addition, Garrett has served as a Capability Manager at RQM+ since 2021, focusing on employee growth and development. Prior to joining RQM+, Garrett worked as a Senior Engineer and Regulatory Scientist. Before their industry career, Garrett pursued their PhD at the University of Pittsburgh, where they conducted research on artificial lung devices. Garrett also worked as a Lead Teaching Assistant, managing a team of undergraduate teaching assistants and developing a novel course. Garrett has further experience as a Project Manager and Student Consultant at Fourth River Solutions, and as a Research Assistant at Hannover Medical School and the University of Pittsburgh.

Garrett Jeffries, PhD, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Garrett further pursued their education at the same university, completing their Doctorate (PhD) in Bioengineering from 2010 to 2017.
