Mwenzi Lungu is a skilled mining engineer with extensive experience at BHP since December 2016, holding various positions including Specialist Project Studies, Senior Engineer Technical and Studies, and Senior Planning and Technical Engineer, focusing on design and scheduling for asset management. Lungu has contributed to business improvement initiatives as a Senior Production Engineer and served as an active member of the Nickel West Inclusion and Diversity Council, promoting a supportive work environment. Prior roles include Production Engineer, Graduate Mining Engineer, and Mining Engineer Intern, with a strong foundation in both open pit and underground mining operations. Additionally, Lungu is involved with the AusIMM as a member of the New Professionals Network and previously contributed to the UWA Student Chapter while earning a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from The University of Western Australia from 2011 to 2016.
