John Palermo is an accomplished professional in the field of accounting and governance with extensive experience serving as Non Executive Director and Board Chair at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since October 2015, and at RPH Research Foundation since 2015. Currently, John Palermo also holds a position as a Member of the College Council at Wesley College, Perth, since January 2022. As the Director of Palermo Chartered Accountants, a firm established in 2006, John Palermo focuses on chartered accounting practices in Perth, Western Australia. Formerly, John Palermo contributed as a Non Executive Director for West Australian Ballet (January 2021 - December 2023) and served at Lifeline WA and The National Trust of Western Australia. Additionally, from January 2008 to March 2014, John Palermo chaired the Public Practice Advisory Committee at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and was involved with the WA Regional Council, including a chairman role in 2013.
