Gary Marsteller

Geospatial Analysis Lead Instructor at Royce Geo

Gary Marsteller has a diverse work experience in the field of geospatial analysis and GIS instruction. Gary currently works at Royce Geo as the Geospatial Analysis Lead Instructor, where they have been since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a GIS Instructor at Royce Geo from November 2019 to March 2021.

Before joining Royce Geo, Gary worked at TPGS as a GIS Instructor from February 2017 to November 2019. Gary also had a role at MacB-ESI as a DCGS-A New Equipment Trainer Senior Lead from January 2012 to February 2017.

Gary's earliest work experience is with the United States Air Force. Gary worked as an Operations Officer from August 2008 to June 2011, where they were responsible for recruiting, training, motivating, and counseling prospective Air Force officers. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Weather Officer from July 2004 to July 2008, where they directed and supervised various military training activities.

Overall, Gary has a strong background in geospatial analysis, GIS instruction, and military leadership.

Gary Marsteller has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Penn State University, which they obtained from 1986 to 1991. Gary later pursued their interest in Meteorology and earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from the same university between 1991 and 1992. Gary furthered their education at the Naval Postgraduate School from 1996 to 1998, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Meteorology.
