Eddie Schorn has a diverse range of work experience in the field of unified communications and network engineering. Eddie began their career at Xerox as a DISN Customer Call Center Agent from August 2013 to January 2015. Eddie then joined Lockheed Martin as a Network Operations Center Technician, providing Tier I level customer service to DoD users, troubleshooting router connectivity and network services from January 2015 to January 2017. Schorn then worked at Leidos as a Network Operations Center Technician (SME) and later as a Unified Communications Voice Engineer (Tier II) from January 2017 to March 2019. Eddie provided tier II level support to DoD users, implemented and configured VOIP services, and upgraded call manager servers. From October 2017 to January 2018, Schorn worked as a Network Engineer at Metova CyberCENTS. Eddie then rejoined Leidos as a Unified Communications Gateway Infrastructure Engineer (Tier II) from January 2018 to March 2019. Most recently, Schorn worked at Global Enterprise Services, LLC (GES) as a Voice Engineer Tier III from May 2022 to January 2023. In this role, they provided engineering support for the Executive Airlift Communications Network, designed and implemented configuration changes, troubleshooted and isolated issues, and worked on network improvements and knowledge communication. Schorn is currently employed at Royce Geo as a Principal Unified Communications Engineer starting from May 2023.
Eddie Schorn obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Walden University, attending from 2019 to 2023. In addition, they hold certifications in CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, which they obtained in July 2015, and CCNA from Cisco, which they obtained in August 2020.
