Chris Hoult has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Chris began their career as an Auditor at Deloitte Haskins and Sells in 1984. Chris then moved on to work for ICI Agrochemicals as a Senior Finance Manager from 1988 to 1992. In 1995, they became the Deputy Group Chief Accountant at Standard Commercial Corporation before transitioning to the role of Director of Finance and IT at L Daehnfeldt A/S. In 1997, they joined Booker plc as a Senior Finance Manager, and in 1998, they became the Director of Finance, IT, and Facilities at Westcountry Publications Ltd. From 2002 to 2006, Chris served as the Director of Finance, IT Procurement, Estates & Facilities at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust. Chris then joined South West Peninsula Academic Health Science Network as the Finance Director from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Chris holds the position of Director of Finance at Royal Voluntary Service, which they have held since 2019. Additionally, they also operate their own consultancy company, Hoult Consulting Limited, since 2006.
Chris Hoult has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from UCL, which they obtained from 1981 to 1984. Before that, they attended Sedbergh School from 1976 to 1981. Additionally, they have a certification in FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
