Machel Bogues is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in equality, diversity, and inclusivity (ED&I) initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager at the Royal Town Planning Institute, Machel leads the development and implementation of the RTPI CHANGE ED&I Action Plan, engaging with key stakeholders to promote inclusivity within the planning profession. As a Freelance Consultant for Abeng Ltd, Machel collaborates with UK Parliament to create resources for Black History Month. Additional roles include Associate Researcher at Visual Identities in Art and Design at the University of Johannesburg and Project Manager at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where Machel focused on enhancing engagement with BAME visitors.
