Kirsty McCabe is an experienced meteorologist and editor currently serving as the Editor of MetMatters at the Royal Meteorological Society and an Account Manager at MetraWeather. Since January 2015, Kirsty has also been a weather producer and presenter at Sky News. Freelance work includes roles as a meteorologist, presenter, and columnist, with contributions to The Weather Channel and Huffington Post, along with parenting columns for BritMums and other publications. Previously, Kirsty held positions at the National Physical Laboratory as a Project Officer and as a freelance weather presenter for Channel 5. Academic background includes a BSc (Hons) in Geophysics from The University of Edinburgh and postgraduate research in Environmental Magnetism from the University of Oxford.
