Michael Little is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in design and maintenance management. Currently serving as a Design Engineer in a secondment role at Royal Mail since November 2021, Michael contributes to business-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and cost-efficiency, with significant involvement in data analysis and simulation for the Midlands Super Hub. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Warburtons from August 2015 to November 2021, including Engineering Team Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing a team of Maintenance Engineers and ensuring safety and quality standards. Earlier experience includes roles at Nissan Motor Corporation, where Michael provided technical support and maintenance planning, and a foundational role at Tyne & Wear Metro/DB Regio focused on routine maintenance of ticket vending machines. Michael holds a foundation degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gateshead College and a National Certificate in the same field from Newcastle College.
