Rui Guimaraes is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as a Sous Chef at the Royal Garden Hotel since March 2022. Prior roles include Junior Sous Chef at Casa do Frango and Senior Chef Partie positions at The Connaught and London Hilton On Park Lane. Rui's culinary journey began with various Demi Chef roles at establishments such as The Mandeville Hotel and Piazza Firenze Restaurant. Rui also completed internships at Hilton Worldwide and garnered formal education in catering and tourism from Professional Catering and Tourism Schools in Estoril and Setubal, Portugal. Additional foundational education includes GCSEs obtained from Basic 2,3/s Michel Giocometti and St. James Catholic Primary School.
