James Fountain is an accomplished trumpet player currently serving as Principal Trumpet for the London Symphony Orchestra since December 2021 and holds the position of Professor of Trumpet at the Royal College of Music since April 2019. Previously, James Fountain has held Principal Trumpet roles with the London Philharmonic Orchestra from February 2020 to December 2021 and with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from June 2014 to February 2020. James Fountain earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Trumpet from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama between 2012 and 2014.
