Maita Tumulak is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data management and strategy within the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of Data Management and Strategy Office at RBC since May 2017. Tumulak has established critical data management capabilities to meet regulatory compliance across Canada and the U.S. and successfully led initiatives to enhance the perception and effectiveness of data teams. Previously, Tumulak held various leadership roles at RBC and RBC Capital Markets, managing multiple regulatory change projects and ensuring the quality of enterprise risk data. Tumulak's educational background includes degrees in Economics from Central Philippine University and Financial Planning from George Brown College, complemented by studies at the Schulich School of Business and ongoing education in Lean methodologies.
