Aruna Harikant is a dedicated researcher in the fields of physics and cosmology, currently serving as a Student Fellow at the Royal Astronomical Society since December 2022. Aruna has held a full-time research position at the Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences since October 2021 and was a Masters Research Student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi from July 2021 to June 2022. Additionally, Aruna has participated as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian Academy of Sciences and completed a Summer Student program at the I. A. P. T summer school in May 2021. Aruna's academic background includes a Master of Science in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sharda University, and a Master of Science in Cosmology from the University of Sussex. Areas of expertise include iterative methods, numerical integration and differentiation, as well as simulations involving gravitational dynamics, wave mechanics, quantum mechanics, and statistical mechanics.
