Rebecca Hayton is a seasoned preventative conservator with extensive experience in museum conservation, currently holding the position at Royal Armouries Museum since October 2017, and previously served as an interim preventive conservator. Earlier roles include a conservation trainee where responsibilities involved condition checking and executing conservation work for exhibitions, as well as pest monitoring and general conservation of diverse objects. Rebecca gained textile conservation experience with The Landi Company Ltd, focusing on 18th-century embroidered motifs. Prior roles in customer service, such as at The Thatch Inn and The White Swan, complemented Rebecca's strong background in teamwork and communication. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s Degree in Historic Preservation and Conservation from the University of Lincoln.
