David Laffin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. David is currently employed as the Head of CX / Trust Research at Roy Morgan since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at DJL Consulting Group since January 2000. From January 2012 to June 2019, they served as the CX Research Director - Financial, Govt, Telco, Ombudsman at CSBA. David also worked as a Research Director (Consultant) at Strategic Intelligence Group from November 2008 to December 2011. David has previously held positions at Roy Morgan as the Industry Director - Telco, Technology, Utilities from August 2006 to July 2008, and as the Industry Manager / Group Account Manager - Financial Services from August 1998 to August 2006. David started their career as a Research Consultant at DBM Consultants in 1997 and worked as a Senior Research Analyst at Roy Morgan Research from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they were employed as a Technical Officer and Database Manager at Rural Water Corporation from April 1990 to April 1995.

David Laffin holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree with a focus on Applied Social and Environmental Research. This degree was obtained from RMIT University.
