Lin Wang, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at Duke University, where they invented next-generation magnetic antennas. In 2014, they founded a social shopping marketplace called yesapp.co and served as its Founder. In the same year, they also worked as an R&D Director at Vigo Devices, managing pattern recognition research and development and contributing to the development of a drowsiness level detector. In 2015, they became a Deep Learning Research Scientist at Nine Summit Mountain, where they built a deep learning robot. From 2017 to 2019, they joined Samsung Research America as a Staff AI Research Scientist, focusing on AI for Samsung IoT and millimeter wave radar sensing. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Rowzzy.
Lin Wang, PhD completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microwave Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China between 1998 and 2002. Lin then pursued further education at Duke University, where they obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Machine Learning from 2010 to 2012. Continuing their studies at Duke University, they went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2008 to 2013.
