Maverick Lin has a diverse work experience. Maverick worked as a System Engineer at RoviSys starting in 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at Virginia Tech Department of Chemical Engineering, including being a Chem-E-Car Controls Sub-team Lead and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. At the Tong Research Laboratory, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Maverick also gained experience as an Automation Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific and as a Galileo Instructor and Mentor at Virginia Tech College of Engineering. Lastly, they worked at Mission San Jose Aquatics as a Coach and Coach/Manager.

Maverick Lin completed their high school education at Irvington High School from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in General Engineering at Virginia Tech College of Engineering from 2018 to 2023.
