Maryam Wissam Al Dabbagh is a seasoned professional in strategic storytelling, communication, and public relations, currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Rouya Consultancy since August 2015. Al Dabbagh's extensive experience includes roles such as Lead Researcher focusing on the Iraqi diaspora and Middle Eastern art, Director of Communications at The Delma Institute, and Head of Communications for the Sharjah Biennial, where leadership in significant cultural projects was demonstrated. With a background in media consultancy for the Iraqi Parliament and research fellowships on media coverage of Middle Eastern uprisings, Al Dabbagh has contributed to prominent cultural initiatives, including developing educational programs at the UAE Pavilion in Venice. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Global Media and Postnational Communications from SOAS University of London and a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from The American University of Sharjah.
