Sean Carroll has worked in a variety of roles over the past 40 years. From 1980-1985 and 1987-1990, they worked as a Retail Salesperson at Bill Battey Sporting Goods. In 1981, they moved on to become a Factory Administrator at The Kimberton Company. From 1984-1985, they worked as a District Sales Representative at Nabisco Brands, Inc. In 1985, they joined Consolidated Rail Corporation (CONRAIL) as a Sales Representative, and was promoted to Business Development Analyst, Account Executive - Cogeneration Project Development, and Manager, Coal Marketing and Sales - Industrial Coal. In 1999, they co-founded Pathfinder Logistics Solutions, Inc., an authorized business partner and reseller of Esri GIS software, web GIS, and geodatabase management applications. Since 2006, they have been working as Business Development - Utilities at RouteSmart Technologies, engaging in highly consultative relationships with their clients.

Sean Carroll obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Drexel University in 1998, with a field of study in Business Administration. Sean also obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in 1980, with a field of study in Textile Technology.
