Vasco Naudts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vasco began their career in the Koninklijke Marine as an Operations Officer from 1990 to 2003. Vasco then transitioned to Air Traffic Control, working as a Programme Manager at LVNL from 2003 to 2007. After that, they joined Europe Container Terminals (ECT) and held the position of Manager Technical Maintenance from 2007 to 2010, followed by Operations Manager from 2010 to 2013.
In 2013, Vasco Naudts joined Rotterdam World Gateway B.V. (RWG) as an Operations Manager. Vasco was later promoted to Project Director for the Terminal Expansion Project, where their responsibilities included managing the expansion project and overseeing operations. During their tenure at RWG, they also had a detacherment role at P&O Ferries as a Port Manager (ad interim) from July 2022 to December 2022.
In 2021, Naudts joined DP World as a Senior Project Manager in Turkey. Vasco was part of the management team and had the objective of professionalizing optimization, innovation, integration projects. Vasco also provided coaching and strategic development support to the Heads of Operations and Engineering. Additionally, they were involved in the integration team for the acquisition of a competing container terminal in the Marmaris region.

Vasco Naudts obtained a MSc (Ir.) degree in Technische Bedrijfskunde from Eindhoven University of Technology, having attended from 1994 to 2001. Before that, they studied Maritieme Bedrijfskunde at the Royal Netherlands Naval College/Koninklijk Instituut voor de Marine (KIM) from 1990 to 1995.
