James Mahoney is an experienced sports professional with a diverse background in coaching and education within football and futsal. Currently serving as an Academy Coach and Education Manager at Rotherham United Football Club since March 2018, James also directs the Yorkshire Futsal Academy, overseeing the delivery and management of futsal coaching sessions. Previous roles include Academy Coach at Barnsley Football Club and Principal at Huddersfield Giants Community Trust, where James developed educational programs for students. Additional experience includes positions at The Zone Huddersfield Community Trust, Eccleshill United, and various football clubs, showcasing a commitment to youth development in sports. James holds a PGCE from The University of Huddersfield and a degree in Sport Science with Professional Football Coaching from the University of Greenwich.
