Vladimir Nekrasov worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Sainsbury Laboratory from April 2004 to January 2017. Vladimir then joined Rothamsted Research in January 2017 as a Project Leader in Plant Genome Editing.

Vladimir Nekrasov began their education in 1995 at Belarusian State University, where they pursued studies in Biotechnology. Vladimir completed their undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at The University of Edinburgh from 1998 to 2000. Subsequently, Nekrasov went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge, which they successfully completed in 2004.
