Patricia Ortega Ramos has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Patricia started their career as an Apprentice at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2013. In 2014, they completed a Student Internship at Instituto Pirenaico de Ecología-CSIC. Patricia then moved on to Universidad Autónoma de Madrid again in 2015, this time as a Research Collaborator. Patricia joined Rothamsted Research in 2017 as a PhD Student and later transitioned to the role of Postdoctoral Researcher in November 2021. Their work experience showcases their dedication and expertise in the field of research.

Patricia Ortega Ramos has a strong education background in the field of ecology and agri-environmental research. Patricia obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Reading, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Prior to their PhD, Patricia earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Ecology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017. Patricia also holds a Grado degree in Biology, General from the same university, which they completed from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their academic degrees, Patricia has obtained certifications to enhance their expertise. Patricia obtained a Crop Pest Diagnosis certification from CABI in May 2020, further expanding their knowledge in the field. Patricia also holds a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1), which they obtained in July 2015 from Cambridge Assessment. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
