Andrey Korolev has worked at the John Innes Centre as a Research Assistant since June 2002. Andrey has also held the position of RA from January 2013 until the present. In January 2019, Andrey began a new role as a Research Assistant at the same institution. In 2018, they joined Rothamsted Research as a Scientific Technician.

Andrey Korolev earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Yaroslavl Demidov State University, where they attended from 1977 to 1979. Andrey then pursued further education at the Russian Academy of Sciences, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Physiology. The specific dates for their PhD program are not provided.
