Viacheslav Sergeev has a strong background in IT and finance control. Viacheslav served as Deputy Director of Finance Control at Rosneft since April 2017. Prior to that, they were an IT Project Director at Sibintek from January to April 2017. Viacheslav also worked at Bashneft, JSV as the Head of IT Planning and Controlling Department from October 2012 to December 2016, and as the Deputy Director of IT Development Department from November 2009 to October 2012. Before that, they held the position of Director of Information Systems (CIO) at Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat from September 2007 to December 2009, and Chief of Tender Committee from May 2006 to September 2007. Viacheslav Sergeev began their career as a Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Arty Systems Holding from January 1992 to March 2005.

Viacheslav Sergeev attended Stockholm School of Economics from 2006 to 2008, where they earned their MBA with a specialization in General Management. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2006, they completed the Managers Training Programme, acquiring a degree in Management of innovations. Earlier in their education, from 1987 to 1992, Viacheslav studied at Jobs in Russia and obtained a degree in Systems Analysis with a focus on CAD/CAM systems.
