Mikhail Puliaevskii has a diverse work experience in different companies and roles. Mikhail started their career as a Business Development and Marketing Director in Irkutskgiprodornii, where they successfully increased sales and developed a quality management system. Mikhail then worked in the Russian Federation Ministry of Transportation as the Director for works execution foreign loans. After that, they joined UC RUSAL as the Deputy Project Director. Later, they worked in Aker Solutions as a Procurement & Subcontracting Manager. Mikhail then moved to Kvaerner as a Vice President, where they led business development in Russia, managed strategic partnering, and coordinated a study for an Arctic exploration drilling platform. Currently, they are working as the Deputy Department Director for Local Content & Strategic Partnering in Rosneft.
Mikhail Puliaevskii began their education at Teesside University in 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business Studies until 1999. Mikhail then enrolled in the Irkutsk State Economy Academy from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a National Diploma of Higher Education with distinction in World Economy, specializing as an Economist. Following this, Puliaevskii studied at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation from 2002 to 2003, focusing on Finance and Corporate Budgeting, leading to a National Diploma of Post-graduate studies. Their education continued at The University of Manchester from 2006 to 2010, where they completed a Post-graduate Certificate in Business Administration.
