Sarah Pritchard completed their education in a variety of fields and institutions. From 1984 to 1986, they pursued coursework in Anthropology, Photography, and Liberal Arts at Mills College. In 1986, they participated in the AFS Intercultural Programs USA and attended the School Year Abroad program in Florence, Italy. During this time, they focused on Italian language, Italian cinema, graphic design, and photography. From 1987 to 1989, they earned a BFA degree in Photography and Cultural Anthropology from New York University. Finally, between 1993 and 1995, they attended Cornell University, where they obtained a Masters degree in Planning and International Nutrition.
