Jacob de Boer Dorrego has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jacob started their career at Protocolbureau as a Senior Partner and Liaison Officer. Jacob then joined Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where they worked as a Corporate Training Program Manager and later as a Venue Operations Manager at Grand Hyatt Muscat. Jacob then transitioned to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they served as an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at The Westin Valencia. Jacob then returned to Hyatt Hotels Corporation as an Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Andaz Abu Dhabi. Jacob's next move was to W Hotels, where they held various positions, including Hotel Manager for W Beijing Chang'an and W Shanghai - The Bund. At Marriott International, they took on roles as Director of Brand Marketing for W Hotels & Luxury Brand Activation and Director of Brand Management for W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, Autograph Collection, and Tribute Portfolio, Asia Pacific. Currently, Jacob works at The Hong Kong Jockey Club as an Executive Manager of Member Experience Programming. Jacob'smost recent appointment is with Rosewood Hotel Group as the Corporate Senior Director of Food & Beverage for EMEAC. Jacob has experience in brand management, marketing, programming, and operations, and they have demonstrated leadership skills and a focus on delivering exceptional experiences to customers.

Jacob de Boer Dorrego completed their A-Level / IGCSE education at Hasting School from 1996 to 2002. Jacob then pursued further studies at Hotelschool The Hague from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Hospitality Administration/Management.
