Marcus Wood has a diverse background in emergency services and healthcare, currently serving as a Firefighter/EMT for the German Valley Fire Protection District since 2015. In addition, Marcus contributes to the community through a role on the Grow Team at Leaf River Baptist Church since July 2022. As a Rosecrance Health Services Specialist since December 2018, Marcus has furthered experience in the healthcare sector. Previous roles include Dispatcher at ATS Medical, Inc. from September 2016 to December 2018 and Deputy Fire Chief at Leaf River Fire Protection District from 2011 to 2018. Marcus holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Automotive Engineering Technology/Technician from Highland Community College, Illinois, completed between 2011 and 2013.
