Kani Kalo is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Kasaï Capital Management BV, a commodity trading and investment firm established in September 2023, focused on connecting the world to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Since April 2019, Kani Kalo has been the Sole Proprietor of a consultancy specializing in diplomacy and business development, facilitating European trade and investment in the DRC, particularly through initiatives like the Africa First Network and projects supporting ecological transition and sustainable development. Kani Kalo has also played key roles in supporting DRC's collaboration with international organizations, authored political articles regarding the DRC, and participated in various discussion groups through the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. Kani Kalo holds a degree from RWTH Aachen University, with prior education at Athénée Royal de Rösrath.
